mark twain

I’ve been traveling this weekend for my 10 year anniversary. Kari-Lise and I have been doing our share of hiking, eating, drinking, and exploring. While out and about a quote from Mark Twain came to mind, one of my favorites:

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.”

— Mark Twain

Get out there. Abroad., nearby, doesn’t matter. Experience what you haven’t experienced. It’s important.
