Loathsome Latitudes & Blasphemous Bathymetry

The Known Territories are a vast stretch of land that begins among the islands of the western archipelago and fades into obscurity in the vast stepland east of the formidable Whitman range. Here you will find cartography taken from various locals of this unique land.

Please be warned, some of what you see below could contain minor spoilers. It is recommended that you read at least through Old Broken Road before proceeding below.

Annotated Robbers Roost Trading Co. Map

You’ve seen maps like this before, usually tucked near the register of a roadside diner or among a tiered display of brochures in a caravaneer supply store or a cheap motel. This one has been well-loved, bent, battered, folded many times. The glossy sheen had been baked away by the sun—someone, another roader perhaps, has spent time marking points on interest on the map, including some ominous ones along the forbidden Broken Road. But who would travel that route? And why?

The Inner Passages of the Western Territories Chart

Much of the Territories are as lawless and wild as they are beautiful, and that extends to the seas. While Lovat maintains some authority along the western side of the Territories, anarchy is more common beyond her city limits and the waters off her shoe are no different. With that in mind, several Territorial interests have assembled the following nautical chart using volunteer data as a way to keep the archipelago’s waterways a little safer. While the city of Lovat recommends following the data on this chart, accuracy is not guaranteed, and the responsible mariners should proceed with caution.
