I can only store so much backstock at my house, so supplies are limited, but I already have more on order. All US orders are shipped via USPS Media Mail. I’m happy to ship internationally, for that I use USPS Priority Mail International. Shipping a book/books internationally can be cost prohibitive, but I will ship to Canada. In the past, I did ship to the UK as well, but with the all the convoluted Brexit rules, I won’t be shipping there for the foreseeable future. I’ve shared a recording of last week’s DEAD DROP Live on YouTube. (And it’s embedded below.) The fun starts at the 11:00 mark (otherwise, it’s just a chill “stream starting soon” countdown). This was my first attempt at streaming, and while I think it went rather well, I’ve already made some adjustments for the next stream to make it easier to watch after the fact. Next week I’m planning on giving a behind-the-scenes look at the work that goes into creating an Old Haunt. So come join me and watch live on my Twitch channel next Tuesday, from 6–7 PM PDT. Based on emails I’ve gotten over the last few years, I suppose this is the moment many of you had been anticipating. I’m very proud to announce that Gleam Upon the Waves is done and will be arriving on March 30th, 2021. Nope, that’s not one long typo. It’s actually happening, and I can’t stop smiling about it. In twenty-seven days, you’ll be able to return to Lovat and the world of the Territories and join Waldo Bell and the crew of the Bell Caravans on their next adventure.

Paperback editions will land on launch day and they’re looking really good. Currently, the book is sitting at the 450-page mark, making Gleam Upon the Waves the longest book of the series (so far). I think all you paperback readers will be pleased.

Because of the events of the last few days, I’m intentionally a little late with this report. As anyone who reads my blog regularly knows, for the previous few months, I’ve been running a special promotion. So, it’ll come as no surprise that when I see a charity founded by a famous chef with the goal of helping the hungry during a time of crisis, it immediately piques my interest. It’s the sort of charity I’m glad to support.
Ten years ago, Chef José Andrés and his wife Patricia Fernández de la Cruz started the World Central Kitchen to prepare food for those in need following a devastating earthquake in Haiti. Since then, the organization has expanded and has continued working to solve the issues of hunger that always arrives alongside disaster. They’ve been everywhere and have helped in all sorts of emergencies, from hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, tornados, wildfires, to the U.S. government shutdown, or the refugee crisis along the Colombia/Venezuelan and U.S./Mexico borders. Where there are hungry people, World Central Kitchen is there to feed them.

Since the rise of COVID-19 and its rampage across the globe, World Central Kitchen has stepped up yet again, organizing food relief for communities struggling in the crisis as well as helping to feed the first-responders working to save the sick. With their #ChefsForAmerica program, they’re also recruiting local restaurants putting them back to work and bringing them into their fight against hunger. They’re currently serving over 160,000 meals per day.
